WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

SIMPLY UNIQUE is based in Athens Greece, but we are delighted to work with destination weddings across the world. The Greek Islands (Aegean & Ionian), Morocco, Spain, Italy, France, the U.K. the U.S. and Anguilla, which we love so much are some of the destinations we'll be hitting soon, so share your destination wedding dreams with us and we're pretty sure your wedding wanderlust will find its perfect globetrotting partner in Simply Unique.

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

Simply Unique offers full-wedding planning, event and floral design services. We also offer full, partial and on the day coordination, decor options, graphic design services for your invitations, favors, and vendor recommendations & coordination, from venues to caterers, to sound & lighting, rentals, photographers, videographers, MUAH & entertainment). We also work with corporate clients offering full corporate event planning services and design.

DO YOU CATER TO ALL RELIGIONS?

Absolutely so! Greece is a wedding destination for many kinds of religious weddings. Our mission goes beyond finding the perfect venue, your officiants and paperwork to perform your religious wedding in Greece.

WHY SHOULD WE HIRE AN EXPERT WEDDING PLANNER?

On average, it takes over 600 hours to plan a 3-day wedding. 3-day wedding planning has less to do with budget but works to create an all-sensory, memorable experience. 3-day destination weddings in Greece won't differ from all of things associated with a traditional wedding, but include seas of additional elements helmed by an entire wedding planning team. This means a crew of expertly versed creators, who will spend significant amount of focus on your details as well as design and will achieve the ambiance you dream of while executing every single seam of your vision flawlessly. CAN WE BOOK A CONSULTATION WITH YOU BEFORE WE BOOK?

It's what we do! Simply Unique offers a 1-hour complimentary consultation prior to booking. Upon our first meeting you will receive a synopsis of our services. We will elaborate on how we approach each concept and design element, the planning of your events already lining up with your wedding vision.

DO YOU WORK WITH SPECIFIC VENUES / CONTRACTORS/ VENDORS?

Simply Unique pride ourselves for working with the best vendors and contractors in the wedding industry to provide our clients with everything that will inspire and excite them. Our goal is for you to feel free, explore your wedding destination's best, and fall head over heels in love with your wedding day, and lifestyle event. Our agenda is chock-full of the most carefully vetted, process driven vendors. Simply Unique will go beyond our best abilities to create the events you and your loved ones adore. WE WOULD LIKE TO HOST A PRE/POST WEDDING EVENT IN GREECE, CAN YOU HELP?

We can't think of a better way to celebrate with your friends and family! In fact, pre-wedding and post-wedding events are something we always recommend. A relaxed Greek cuisine beach-cookout, a taverna-style dinner, with Ouzo tastings and syrup dripping Galaktoboureko & Baklava for dessert, a day cruise and exclusive tour in Greece's azure islands, or an authentic Greek winery experience are only a small sample of our suggestions. Similarly, if you're planning a wedding at home and would like to arrange a pre or post-wedding event, then our services can be tailored to your requirements. 

IS THERE A MINIMUM BUDGET OF WEDDINGS YOU WORK ON?

At Simply Unique we plan all kinds of events; What is far more important than the budget we work with, is how practical each budget proves for your requirements and preferences. While we will always try to make things as effective as possible for you, there are a few limitations. You can trust us to come up with solutions no matter what your budget. 

DO YOU CHARGE AN HOURLY RATE, A FLAT RATE OR A PERCENTAGE OF OUR OVERALL WEDDING BUDGET? -AND DO YOU HAVE A RETAINER FEE TO SECURE YOUR WEDDING PLANNER SERVICES?

We charge a flat rate for our Simply Unique wedding planning service. A retainer fee is required to secure any of our wedding planning & design services. A fee schedule will be custom-made to your needs prior to signing your contract. 

WHAT ADDITIONAL TYPES OF EVENTS DO YOU SERVICE?

Although our main focus is destination weddings, we work on Lifestyle Events, Milestones, Anniversaries, Baby Showers, Bachelor Parties, Corporate Events, Branding celebrations and non-religious ceremonies.

HOW MUCH COMMUNICATION CAN WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

We personally respond to all messages within 24 business hours. During the first steps of your wedding planning we will create a timeline for all communications and updates to expect. Depending on the requirements of your events you can expect at least 5 to 20 Skype calls and/ or personal meetings.

HOW MANY WEDDINGS OR EVENTS WILL YOU COORDINATE PER DAY?

We only take a limited number of weddings and lifestyle events every year - this means that we only do one wedding or event per day.

WILL YOU BE PRESENT ON OUR WEDDING DAY?

Definitely so! Having invested so many days in creating your Simply Unique events we wish to be present, not to just witness the beauty of it all coming together but to make sure you're totally immersed and fully enjoying. Nathalie and her assistants will be with the bride, the groom and at the venue, supervising and setting everything in place just as we envisioned and agreed with each vendor, so every detail you expect is in place and the perfect planning service is provided.

HOW MANY ASSISTANTS WILL ATTENT ON MY WEDDING DAY?

At least 3 assistants will be at your wedding depending on the size of your events. If your event(s) take place in multiple locations, or the guest count is large then more assistants will be appointed.

HOW DO YOU DRESS UP FOR A WEDDING?

For weddings, all Simply Unique wedding planners and executive staff are dressed in elegant, black attire or if otherwise requested: according to the dress-code of your events.

DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE MEALS FOR THE WEDDING PLANNING TEAM?

A destination wedding can easily turn into a 10, 12, and even 14-hour working day. That is why planner, assistant, photographer & videographer meals during your reception are appreciated. However, the team of Simply Unique is attending your wedding as your professionals and will strictly refer from any alcohol or joining your guests at the bar or on the dance floor.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO BOOK OUR WEDDING PLANNER?

As most destination wedding dates are booked 18-12 months prior, your destination wedding planner & designer are the first to choose. To secure your destination planning date a non-refundable deposit of 40% is required. The size of your event and budget will also be considered as major factors, but we highly suggest a minimum of 35 to 40 weeks in advance.

CAN WE BOOK YOU FOR A GREECE DESTINATION WEDDING?

Of course you can! Each Greece destination wedding comes with special requirements. For destination weddings outside Greece, we typically include travel costs & lodging in your collection, but we always work our best to be mindful of your budget.

DO YOU OFFER SAMPLE FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS?

For events with a floral budget below 3000 Euro, samples are charged full-price. For events with a floral budget above the amount Simply Unique offers one complimentary sample upon request. If your wedding floral budget is eligible for sampling, once we have confirmed your booking and received your deposit, we will begin creating your sample soon as your chosen blooms are available on the market. Kindly notice that this may require more time if your wedding florals are not in season.

DO YOU ONLY WORK WITH BIG EVENTS?

Simply Unique works with all kinds of events regardless of their size. From Greece micro weddings and Greek Island elopements to grander affairs and destination weddings in Greece. Kindly keep in mind that some popular summer and early autumn dates may be already reserved for larger events. If you are planning a last-minute destination wedding ceremony in Greece do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to help you.

HOW DO WE BOOK YOUR SERVICES?

From our very first consultation with you Simply Unique will be there to listen to your needs and understand your event vision. Booking a second consultation will mark the beginning of our collaboration at which point you will be requested to proceed to a deposit that will secure the booking of our services. Once your deposit is cleared we will notify you and request about 10 days time to create our first proposal. From then on more meetings will be scheduled so we can discuss every detail concerning your events. Your final fee deposit is due 1 week prior to your event(s) date.
